The Role
I erally enjoyed my job, i had alot of responsibility and each day was different
Team worked well together and i played a vital role in the day to day activities
My manager supported my throughout and let me have time off to do uni work etc
There were times when the job was quiet but that happens in every job - everyday there was something for me to do
i feel that i was trusted and was given responsibility when it came ot responding to tenders with the odd input from my manager
i think the skills that i learnt are going to be invaluable and will help alot when i go back to uni
The Company
Atmosphere on the whole was very positive
Xerox have alot of placement students and this therefore meant that it was well organised and everything was set up (email etc) before i even started
Took part in a couple of online training schemes and it was compulosry to take part in some
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Open to apply to be first in line to know about grad jobs - will be applying and will see what jobs are available - wouldn't say no to coming back if the job etc was right for me
The Culture
Majority of the placement students were up for going out most weeks - however this was mainly on weekdays and some people couldn't always go due to their job
Rent was very expensive and due to being on the outskirts of london it was alot more expensive - nights out etc
Alot of pubs in Uxbridge and one nightclub - student nights were good as it was cheaper but in order to have a bit of choice needed to go further afield
I know there was a football team for the boys but nothing really available for the girls to do apart from the local gym
