Operations Analyst Intern

I am studying Computer Networks at Sheffield Hallam and when looking for a placement, G-Research really stood out to me as it provided such a wide range of learning opportunities compared to other placements.

During my time at G-Research I have been in two separate IT teams, Technical Support and Infrastructure. Both roles cover vast areas of IT: in Technical Support I provided general first-line support to the entire company and in Infrastructure I managed compute and storage.

The best thing about working here is the community feel. Everyone is so nice and always happy to help, which is definitely aided by being able to chat to people across the business at regular social events like our monthly company drinks.
