Intelligence Automation Placement

I initially joined Travelport as an Intelligence Automation Intern during my placement year. After successfully completing the internship, I was offered a part-time position as an Intelligence Automation Developer. In this role, I contribute to the development of product catalogues and clearing systems.

Throughout the year, I gained a comprehensive understanding of software development, and the learning didn’t stop there. Travelport encouraged cross-team collaboration which gave the interns the chance to engage with projects from other departments, broadening both technical and business knowledge.

My time at Travelport has been incredibly rewarding. One of the standout features of the internship program is " Internpreneurship." This initiative allows interns to tackle real-world business challenges and propose innovative solutions. For instance, I had the opportunity to present app enhancement ideas to EasyJet.

For future intern cohorts, my advice is to seize every opportunity and be open to new challenges. Everyone at Travelport, including the senior leadership team, is approachable and eager to help. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or make mistakes—it’s all part of the learning journey!
