I had a great time doing this internship I had never done an internship before and it was my first time working so I wasnt sure what to expect but it turned out I had a really good time and learned a lot

Overall good with bad patches However this is the true nature of Audit so it reflects the job well
My role was no different to any of the other audit graduates I was placed into Financial Services Audit where I gained experience across the Investment Management Banking and Insurance sectors The placement was hugely enjoyable as my tasks were varied
I enjoyed the placement much mroe towards the second half of the year when I had settled in more
Overall I have enjoyed my time on placement however it can vary a lot week to week depending on who your clients are and who else is in your team The work is enjoyable or at least most of it and there is a lot of variation in the job which keeps it in
KPMG is a great firm to work for and I enjoyed every minute I am planning to return upon graduation I was supported and given a lot of responsibility from the beginning
I found it to be an enjoyable job I was given responsibility from day one but was encouraged to ask a lot of questions and there was a lot of support when needed
Overall it was a very rewarding and challenging experience I would most definitely recommend doing one to really understand what it is to do audit

Internship was undertaken during the summer holidays during the quietest period at KPMG Therefore there was very little work for me to do and for most of the time I was left quite bored I made very good friends and when I was out on a client it was enj
I was given great exposure to a variety of challenging interesting work Those I worked with were friendly and helpful
The work was interesting and completely new to me having only recently finished my Alevels I enjoyed the challenge of learning new things and being exposed to clients
Some days it was difficult to understand what I really there for as I didnt feel like I was really learning anything other than how to copy certain processes
I was fully immersed in the KPMG working life I worked on several clients and was given a variety of different tasks on each to broaden my understanding of audit
The guys in my team were a good laugh but the work was mindnumbingly tedious
These was an interesting and very useful experience
It was a very enjoyable experiance and it also gave me a chance to explore London
The internship was my first experience in such an environment the program allowed me to experience many different areas of KPMG This in itself was very fulfilling and enjoyable as it gave a real insight as opposed to a training program
Overall it was really good to have a work experience that involved being based in the office as well as in client sites
