I enjoyed my time at KPMG due to the varied work I was given and good worklife balance that I was able to have in stark difference to some internships in the City The people were very friendly and the firm professional
I enjoyed it and a lot of effort was put into training me but it was often difficult to get hold of any proper work
The internship was very very enjoyable I was constantly given a variety of work to complete so you were never bored It can be demanding at times especially given the fact that the work you complete is actually useful and valuable but this can be seen
Work was vaired I got to travel around the country working on different clients A couple of times the clock did drag on a bit but that was mainly when I had nothing to do
It was very well conceived there was a good working environment in the office and the tasks were interesting and varied
The work was interesting and challenging and I met lots of good people
The induction was really interesting and the work Ive done since has been challenging and enjoyable

Lots of factors affected this Since the work is client based you are always at different clients and working with different people so it depends who youre working with as to how much workresponsibility youre given Some days I wasnt given very much
I really enjoyed experiencing the working environment and loved the social side of being an intern both with the other interns are with graduates who have already started work
It has been a fantastic experience You get the real feel of what it would be like to be working for a company in this sector on a full time basis The people I worked with were all great
I really enjoyed the placement mainly because I was out on client sites for the majority of it and the teams I was with were friendly and helpful I suspect I would have enjoyed it much less if Id been in the office but overall it was very enjoyable
Sometimes the work is dull and repetitive but on the whole I was given varied tasks and as I showed I could do them was given different things to do that were more interesting

There was sufficient training to enable me to work effectively although an overview of the basics at the induction would have been helpful
