The hours were occasionally brutal but thats to be expected from any investment bank I had a lot more fun during those hours than most interns at other banks would likely have done as the people in my team were awesome
I really enjoyed my time spent at Macquarie I was withing FICC and was able to rotate around multiple desk during my interhsip in both the sales and trading side

I really enjoyed the exposure and the responsibilities that I was given at Macquarie
Often worked late hours which had an impact on the amount of sleep I had
I was given a variety of projects and tasks to work on I was regularly provided with networking and team events
I really enjoyed it It was very challenging but worthwhile I learnt a lot and feel like I genuinely achieved something that went towards the successes of the business
On the whole the internship I did at Macquarie was a very challenging experience where I had the opportunity to learn a lot on a daily basis
