Overall a very enjoyable fortnight of real work and good socials
I sat with partners and senior associates who gave me some great work to look at We also had one social event per week outside the office which gave us some welcome midweek breaks without tiring us out
Balance combination between hard work where I was given actual meaningful work which helped rather than work given to keep me out of partners hair though there was a bit of this and social events etc
The main reason the placement scheme was so enjoyable was down to the people Everyone at the firm including senior partners is friendly and approachable

I really enjoyed my time at Stephenson Harwood I feel I got a lot out of it as everyone was really helpful and willing to spend time explaining things to me and find tasks for me to complete
All the staff and fellow vacation scheme students were extremely friendly Human Resources provided research tasks to undertake during quiet periods so there was always something to do
The people were nice but the overall experience was not enjoyable
The variety of work made the two weeks very enjoyable
I learned quite a lot about the law and being a lawyer Its length is nice as its long enough to get a sense of what being a lawyer is like and short enough that you get to enjoy the summer holiday
I really enjoyed both the practice areas in which I sat and the vatiety of work I was entrusted with
It was extremely fun Everyone is extremely nice and I especially enjoyed the nights out with the trainees On a particular occasion we went to a ping pong bar in Holborn which was the most fun I had had for a long time
I thoroughly enjoyed my time on this vacation scheme However I think it is true with anywhere that you get as much out of it as you put in If you are enthusiastic and motivated it will be a fantastic experience
