I have loved my placement year at MSD Like any student I was skeptical about having a year in industry even with a strong passion for marketing however I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences
My placement year at MSD was fantastic I was given a lot of responsibility which is exactly what I wanted from a placement year Every day was different and I think a big bonus for me was being given the opportunity to visit the other sites in the UK
I really enjoyed my placement year at MSD everyone in my department was so helpful and welcoming and I feel like I really learnt a lot
Had the opportunity to work on a number of large projects with lots of variation
I was so lucky to have such a social group of other students on placement We all became such good friends and really tried to make the most out of living in Hoddesdon
Its been enjoyable up to now about half way but very challenging at the beginning because I was a bit like a fish out of water having no idea about the pharmaceutical industry
First month or so was difficult learning new skills in an area in which I had no previous experience My colleagues were very helpful however and I soon got over that tricky period By the time my placement was up I had learnt an incredible amount about
learned more than I could have hoped for
I had a great time and always looked forward to each day
I loved my time there I would love to do it again
Very enjoyable everyone was very friendly

I have grown in confidence and feel that I am very much a part of the team
It was a good opportunity for me I was given real work from the start gaining valuable handson experience and feeling that this was beneficial not only for my CV but personally as well

I wanted a problem solving job and a job with freedom a job with tasks that were challenging that helped me develope This placement was just that
It was a fantastic experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it
Over the past 4 months that I have been working at MSD I have thoroughly enjoyed the new challenges that were presented to me on a regular basis It has already given me an insight as to what I would like to pursue in the future and cleared up misconcept
