The first few months were frustrating as I didnt know what to do I had difficulty with chasing the documents and engine parts Gradually I started to pick up things and started to enjoy my job role
Having full responsibility of running the CFM operations in my section whilst my Manager is away for 2 weeks has been a difficult but enjoyable experience Ive learnt a lot since I started here and this was a real test as to what I can do The teams here
No two days were ever the same every day there was always something new happening I wasnt stuck doing the same repetitive tasks every day
Very enjoyable and worthwhile internship
Really enjoyed working at GE there was a large variation of work I could do and so was able to learn so much about the processes and the company Everyone was very welcoming and due to the amount of interns working at GE there was a good social aspect to
It was hard at first because I had so much responsibility but it was worth it once I got into it
Role threw up many different and varied challenges to face every day No two days felt the same
some work is good and has a lot of responsibility some is dull and meanial
The placement is going really well so far Speaking to the guys on the shop floor is the best part
Thoroughly ennjoyed it
Lots of various jobs to take on all the time If I come to a pause in one theres other projects to work on
It is definitely a good career experience and opportunity as there are so many different manufacture assembly processes here It expands your knowledge of industry and large companies
I enjoyed work Everyone was very nice and I looked forward to coming in

Being part of GE has been a fast pased first hand experience of the working world Getting hands on with everyday engineering problems and applying my own knowledge to applications It was great fun with amazing people within the work place The workload

It provides a great opportunity to develop engineering and interpersonal skills but the work load can be difficult at times
Really enjoyable everyday threw up its own challenges
