About The Co-op

At Co-op, we’re proud to do things differently. We’re owned by over 5 million members, and we give our profits back to them and their communities. Since 2016, our members have helped to raise £117 million, helping more than 7 million people across the UK. We exist to meet members’ needs and stand up for the things they believe in. Put simply, we’re here to do right by you.

As the UKʼs largest convenience retailer, weʼre known for our fantastic food, our support of British Farmers and local food producers and our commitment to Fairtrade and ethical trading.

Weʼre looking for ambitious undergraduates to join Co-op on a 12-month placement. If you’re a natural team player who’s keen to build the skills and experience you need to start a career in food, we can offer you the opportunity to do just that with a business that always puts people at the heart of its strategy.

When you join us, you can help to deliver our vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for our member-owners everyday’ by making sure we source and create food with respect for people and the planet.
