I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at National Grid I have learnt and developed more than I expected
Very good experience to have A lot of time is invested in the trainees at National Grid and I immediately felt part of the team Given challenges to push myself in all aspects of the job a freedom to work independently with the trust of my colleagues P
so thoroughly enjoyable learnt so much along the way and really made sure this was the career for me
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement which provided me with some great opportunities to develop my skill set and give me an insight into how a large company operates
The work placement was enjoyable and i made some good friends on it There were plenty of other students doing a placement and lots of social events organised for networking I will be looking into a graduate scheme with National Grid
I enjoyed my work placement very much due to the wide variety of areas I was able to work in which was interesting throughout the 8 weeks I worked there
The internship was a fantastic opportunity to see into a large company like National Grid Learning how the business system works and how information is exchanged will benefit my career in the future
I had a very enjoyable placement It was very beneficial for me as it was the first time I got to experience what its like to have a real proper full time job My project was very interesting and I was warmlywelcomed into the System Design team
I found the background and initial work given on the placement to be really interesting However due to the nature of the work which required lots of modelling tasks were sometimes repetitive and lackluster Nevertheless there were many opportunities
Really enjoyed the placement met some great friends and colleagues and really enjoyed the scope of work and involvement I had in important company projects
I really enjoyed it The company has a welcoming atmosphere most people were quite keen to speak to you and you certainly didnt feel in any way inferior just because you were an intern Once we actually got into our project I found it really interesting
My internship was split into two 4 week placements one in Leeds and one in Boston in the US I enjoyed both however the work I was given in the US was the same as would have been given to a permanent junior engineer therefore I really enjoyed the chance
