Very enjoyable from day 1
I wasnt sure what to expect on my internship however I settled in quickly and I really enjoyed the 10 weeks in my department
I was kept active given responsibility and had fun within the team
The experience has been challenging yet enjoyable In terms of the organisaiton the vast majority of people I met at Santander were very welcoming and were willing to have an intern as an addition to the team rather than an outsider
The first week or two were the hardest working in a new environment but by the end I didnt want to leave
From the outest I was aiding on key deals working closely with appointed Relationship Director and Manager The whole team was friendly which helped the settling in process We had several team lunches and drinks which also helped integration I didnt m
Overall I enjoyed it but as with any job I had good and bad days
All aspects of my work in Santander meet or exceed my expectations
Good level of support from my manager and was given a fair amount of responsibility However volume of work was very varied
Gained a good insight into the company and was mostly busy However some days when the office was quiet were slow with little to do
It was actually really enjoyable there werent any days where I was waiting for the day to finish
it was good
It was a very good experience 10 weeks really gives you time to become a part of the team
I sometimes dont have enough tasks to do
The people I worked with were lovely and made me feel I was a valued member of the team
