I found every aspect of the work placement extremely enjoyable The work I was asked to do was challenging enough to keep me entertained and the site that I worked at was very large and contained many unexpected advantages such as a gym a restaurant a c
It was difficult to start with and a little monotonous with having to learn new techniques until I could do them unsupervised but once that bits out the way it gets a whole lot better
I certainly learnt a lot on this placement that I wouldnt have learnt if Id have stayed on to do my third year The site I was at was in a really nice area Alderley Park the staff were nice and the work wasnt too tricky There were times when I did
AstraZeneca AZ is a wonderful place to work Everyone is really friendly and experts in their fields You start off slowly but soon within month or two it becomes a serious fulltime job which is excellent if you want to actually learn things
There were some difficulties such as learning new techniques initially but eventually the work became easier
The culture was amazing Before starting work there I had heard very positive things about the lifestyle and this definitely proved to be the case There is lots of fun events organised on site some for learning some just for fun and excellent sport
