I really enjoyed the experience I was given a real insight into what the life of a trainee at Shoosmiths was like There is a clear culture and the people are a key part of it
I really enjoyed the placement I found I was working with an incredibly friendly team got to know lots of different people and was kept busy with a range of very interesting tasks
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Shoosmiths The experience helped me understand of academia translates into the daytoday practicalities of being a commercial solicitor I was given hands on responsibilities from the start which helped me to get a great
It was an absoloutely fantastic overall experience My tasks were varied everyone was incredibly friendly and approachable and not at any point did I feel a burden
I had a great time and really felt that I got a feel for what the firm was about Evereyone was so friendly and I definitely loved the experience Even at time where I was busy or doing less interesting woek it was still very enjoyable
The week made me realise that this is definitely the kind of job I want to be doing
I realy had a fantastic time I felt like I was actually learning something rather than just observing and feeling lost
The placement was a really enjoyable experience being a really nice place to work
The people at the firm are very kind and always willign to help However i felt as thoguh the department i was in isnt for me and this is a good thing because now i know what area of law i dont really fancy doing The firm itself is great

I was given excellent insight into high profile cases The workload was engaging and provided a good feel for a legal role in practice There were also themed social activities taking place around the office related to the olympics and placement students
I have undertaken two placements with Shoosmiths and each time I really enjoyed my time there I even joined a group of people going out for dinner and to the cinema one evening
I thought it was a really good experience Everyone was very welcoming and very happy to give me the time to discuss things in depth
It was a learning curve and very enjoyable
