Quite well looked after within the team Good variety of work

Was great working on different projects as well as meeting kind helpful people
Was very interesting and there is often opportunity to get seconded even within the time frame of a summer placement such as mine however there were times when I was under loaded with work
The placement was great I was given a variety of interesting projects to work on which allowed me to gain knowledge of different aspects of structural analysis The work was at times challenging but there was always a chance to ask questions or get help
I was given a project to complete during my 6 week internship the content of which was relevant to my courses at university Moreover the content pertained to subjects which I thoroughly enjoy
This placement has given me the opportunity to grasp first hand experience in working in the Rail Industry Not only do I have a sound knowledge of the London rail network I have also developed a better understanding of how an engineering consultancy work
A real delight turning up to work everydayeven with early mornings ahead

The work they gave me was good but there wasnt a lot of it

Not really the area of engineering I enjoy wasnt doing anything technical just all very dull work
Good selection of work to due some quite challenging some straightforward if a little monotonous and some frustrating when things went wrong for no apparent reason Overall good though
Very supportive team Some tasks a bit tedious but most were engaging
