At first I really struggled to fit in and find out where I was best placed but as time has gone on I have enjoyed it more and more
When I joined it was very quiet but since then work has picked up having increasingly more involvement in a variety of projects and learning much more
On the whole a positive experience

it was mor office based than i had hoped it would be which made it a bit boring

It was good however working in the nuclear sector means that everything needs to be done perfectly This means a lot of tedious detail checking and everything takes so long to complete
it was more office based than i would have liked but i did get to see how the office operated
The only times that I didnt enjoy were those when I was very short of work to do However these werent very often
From the outset I was given a lot of responsibility so I was able to get really involved with high profile projects straightaway which made you feel you were making a valid contribution to the company Also all of my colleagues really helped me to sett
The work was interesting and challenging
Really enjoyed it found it interesting it kept me busy the whole time and have me some great skills for when I get a proper job after I leave university
Overall the internship was good fun The Atkins Defence staff were a fantastic group
So much better than I was anticipating Absolutely love it and really dont want to leave
I really enjoyed my placement I felt an included member but just sometimes found I was not the busiest
It was very good on the whole
