A very steep learning curve but a great challenge
It was great there are few things that I would change A few more graduatestudent events would have been amazing As for actual work I had great exposure to various project and worked on a few
I had really interesting work had the opportunity to work with likeminded people and learnt about the wider operations and markets of the business
It was my first experience working in an office and I really enjoyed it
It was a great placement and has given me an insight into the profession I have chosen as my career
The work was interesting and varied I spent a week out on site my colleagues were very friendly
I had a great time It was hard full on work with rarely a spare moment but the office was brilliant to work in
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement My line manager and other work colleagues were able to give me interesting and varied tasks which challenged me The office has a relaxed working environment and I would consider applying to Atkins in the future
I found that I gained experience in the field of Oil Gas and how Civil Engineering relates to the discipline This has allowed me to go into my 2nd year of university with valuable knowledge regarding organisation and how to relate what I learn to a rea
Really enjoyed my time at Atkins It was great to have the opportunity to work on real projects
It was great to experience work at an engineering consultancy Working for such a large firm as Atkins I was able to work on a range of projects across the UK
Although the mandatory health and safety induction were not the most enjoyable start to my placement things picked up very quickly The most enjoyable part was being able to work on several different projects at the same time
Very much so had a variety of work
At times it was really good with some interesting projects and being involved completely However at other times where there was less work around I could have nothing to do Or be working printing filing organising
Work was varied and interesting and at times a good challenge Some work was repetitive such as sensitivity analyses but overall a enjoyable placement
Very enjoyable as I had the experience of working both in the office and outside as part of a site investigation
Parts were extremely rewarding
The fact that I was involved in a real project made my internship very exciting and enjoyable
