The summer intern is a very well structured 10 weeks programme with 1 week inductions and 9 weeks real work practises My experience in RBS Edinburgh is clearly positive RBS colleagues are very nice and easy going
I enjoyed this thoroughly but there were some negatives
I learnt a lot very insightful and everyone was very helpful
I felt that my internship provided me with a fantastic insight into Operations in RBS I contributed to many businessreadiness tasks and the work given to me felt tailored to my needs

My internship experience was excellent For a university student in their first corporate job I couldnt have asked for a better introduction to what is to come after university It can sometimes be intimidating to think of ending university and starting

The overall experience was really good There were great opportunities to meet new people gain a better understanding of some of the divisions in the bank and undergo projects that you wouldnt do in normal university life

My internship was generally good I feel as though I learnt a lot from my line manager and my team I wouldnt necessarily want to work in my team in the long term but I think as an inital introduction into the banking industry it gave me a good overvie
Very much enjoyed the internship due to the individuals in my team and the autonomy we had when completing projects
The markets internship provided a good insight to fixed income and fx sales and trading the people are very easy to get along with but there is a fundamental lack of expectation for the interns

I really enjoyed my internship I was given real responsibility from day one as I was doing the same work as my line manager The are plenty of social events to get involved in and being in Edinburgh for the summer was fantastic
The internship was very enjoyable Coutts was a fun place to work with great colleagues interesting clients and a good range of work to do
