Overall the placement was enjoyable My day to day jobs were not too taxing but I still felt like I had responsibility and was making a difference
I enjoyed the internship very much I was able to get an insight into the bank and undertake a variety of tasks I particularly enjoyed working in teams for my group projects I learnt how to work with different personalities and divide work effectively
The programme is well structured People are friendly and easy to approach The learning resources and opportunities was rich
The overall experience has been very enjoyable I have been given challenging tasks and have learnt a lot as a result

The actual internship was amazing I was given real responsibility within my team and was encouraged to share my views I learnt how collaborative and supportive RBS is and after ten weeks Im really hoping to gain a place on their graduate scheme
A fantastic learning experience I have utilised this opportunity to meet many teams and learn how their daytoday activities projects etc are aligned with the overall goals of the organisation
To a certain extent I imagine my lack of enjoyment was due to the area of the business in which I was working That said there wasnt a lot of work to be done and what work needed to be done was usually less than enjoyable filing work or similarly menia
It was an interesting and productive experience that enabled me to engage in different project activities and work with very experience colleagues
Really enjoyed the placement I was given and people in my team were very helpful and welcoming
The internship was great It was a good introduction to private banking as well as challenging and fun

The week was varied in terms of activities which included networking with graduates and senior employees job shadowing and various skills sessions The breadth in what I did though out the week made the insight more effective
The 5 day insight gave us an opportunity to explore many different areas of RBS From various skill sessions to presentations to job shadowing the week was very enjoyable and well structured throughout

The Spring Week gave me a clear insight of Commercial and Private Banking
learning from others and interacting with other interns getting exposed to various job floors
I very much enjoyed this experience The people that worked there were very nice and where possible did answer any questions that I had
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight as it gave me valuable insight knowledge into different segments of the RBS bank and taught me about a variety of different components which i was unaware of such as transaction services
