I really enjoyed my internship as a Technology intern at RBS It is challenging educational and rewarding They teach you all the knowledge you need to have in order to perform well in the industry and really give you a chance to experience real project
The people are all really friendly which made work enjoyable
There were some boring bits but on the whole it was great
Firstly I really enjoyed learning about banking because it was a mystery to me prior to starting My colleagues assumed I had no knowledge of what I did and gently eased me into what I needed to be doing I had a constrant stream of work to do as well
Overall a lot of fun really interesting and a career I want to pursue
The team I worked in were always there to help me and a lot of the projects I got involved in were enjoyable However the BAU side of work was much more repetitive and sometimes a tad boring
