Over the course of 10 weeks I have been lucky enough to take part in client meetings presentations preparing letters for clients and much more which has really developed my knowledge of the financial industry One thing I thoroughly enjoyed about RBS
Enjoyed the last 5 weeks a lot more than the first 5
Really loved the first half of the placement because the desk was great Second half was a long struggle to be honest because I did not enjoy what my desk did
I felt as though it was generally a good and valuable experience but equally I didnt feel entirely valued and at times I didnt have much work at all
Interesting but mentally and physically challenging
Depends which desk you get to sit with
It was a great insight into markets
I enjoyed the work very much and although adjusting to the hours was hard at first it got easier
I really enjoyed it and it confirmed my career plans
I have much enjoyed my internship There is a great atmosphere and everyone is always happy to help Other interns are friendly which makes social events very enjoyable

Fantastic learning experience was given a lot of responsibility and enjoyed interaction with members of staff from all levels of the bank
Generally enjoyed my internship at RBS I was in Capital Markets and rotated in 2 groups within the department Felt good to be close to the markets to feel as if you are part of the game even though your responsibilities as an intern are quite limited
Very well structured senior people very approachable got given real tasks to do

The environment is engaging though it is hugely dependent on where you are placed
Love the environment enjoy the work like how laid back it is and the lack of hierarchy Disliked early mornings seriously early mornings but its the price you pay
