I really enjoyed my internship as it struck a great balance between office work in house events networking opportunities and social activities
The week in general offered a good glimpse into daytoday life at RBS jampacked week
Irsquove very much enjoyed my time at Coutts and feel Irsquoll take a great deal from the experience Irsquove gained a great insight into what I can expect from a career in this area and definitely feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity
I enjoyed the internship tremendously The team I was aligned with were very friendly and there was a very pleasant working environment I was given responsibility and client exposure throughout this internship which really broadens your horizons

Really good learnt loads met loads of people in the industry and got great motivation and excitement for the rest of my career
I think I was extremely lucky to be on a desk which gave me interesting and enjoyable work and people who were a joy to work with Not everyone was as lucky as me but the more you put into it the more you get out of it
Wasnt really given much work to do it was very adhoc When tasks were given they were alot of the time simple excel tasks
Once settled with the people I was working with which literally took a day given how nice everyone was I woke up excited to go to work to see what the day brought Not only did I learn a lot about what corporate and institutional banking was I also me

I enjoyed my week greatly and made a lot of friends that i still keep contact with

This is dependent on which business area you get put in I didnt have much of a technical background and was thrown in the deep end of software development Its a steep learning curve but the challenge was really enjoyable
Really enjoyed working at RBS the culture is really unique and soo welcoming and was able to learn a whole deal about the financial markets
Really interesting stuff meeting loads of new friends and lots of events to go to The training week was very much worth it
