The Open Day was informative and gave me an understanding of what life is like as a commercial lawyer
I very much enjoyed my time with Clifford Chance on the spring vacation scheme I felt welcomed and valued throughout the scheme and I also learned a lot about what commercial solicitors actually do and the challenges that they face
I was kept relatively busy with work but was by no keans overloaded Felt as if I was able to be useful The socials were good events however many of the Easter schemers were quite quiet and introverted
It was very interesting lots of applicants attended and they had many trainees available to talk to us many more than I usually see at events such as these so I was pleasantly surprised and happy
Good insight into a magic circle law firm it was just a twoday workshop but it was a great chance to see the firm and meet the trainees and partners so definitely worthwhile plenty of people to meet
Somewhat enjoyable scheme although the demands placed upon you a quite strict and you are expected to be available even though youre only on a vacation scheme however did teach a lot about city law

I was in a small department which meant that everybody was really friendly and that I got plenty of responsibility Loved the firm and fantastic facilities
This two day workshop was very well organised challenging and demonstrate the reality of working for a magic circle firm
