Very enjoyable
As someone who is very technically oriented I really enjoyed working at 3M due to the wide and varied role that I had the people that I was working with and the responsibility that I was given
I truly enjoyed it every aspect of the job Liaising and building relationships with people around the world within the company and outside Solving challenging and different problems I found it really really hard when I was leaving the work place
Was able to tailor the job in respect of being able to spend more time developing aspects that were more interesting and worthwhile to the student
you have good days and bad the best thing about placement is it gives you a good idea of what you want to do when youre older office based work field based work etc
I felt like the job offered a real breadth of varied job responsibilties and I had the opportunity to do many different jobs throughout my placement
The majority of days I was kept busy and had a wide range of jobs
First 68 weeks were relatively monotonous you are essentially starting at the bottom of the ladder stick with it though as the more effort you make in that initial period the better the jobs you will get after and thats when the job gets enjoyable and
Well although it took a lot of initive on my part to ask questions and get the best out of the year
Brilliant company to work for great company culture working environment good level of responsibility and autonomy
I loved the variety of my job the responsiblities I was given and the way I was allowed to completely make the job my own and do things the way I wanted Obviously there were days that I didnt enjoy it as much but overall it has been brilliant
