The work I was doing was highly engaging and being part of the Bank was a fascinating experience

All summer interns work on a project mine was interesting and I had a lot of choice in the direction it would take In many cases interns work will be used to guide future work by economists in the bank so it is satisfying to know your work is important
There was a real sense of prestige working in the Central Bank and you read about where you work everyday in the news

There were many different aspects to the day including business games that were both stretching and enjoyable There were the obvious sections of the day filled with information but these were split up with networking breaks All in all there was a real
