Mainly presentations and exercises related to different divisions on the first four days with an option to work shadow on the last day
Some of the sessions were a bit dull but I liked the other people it was great to meet everyone in HR although they could have had more of a presence and I did leave with a clear idea of what working at Barclays entails which was my aim
Really enjoyable a real insight into what different roles would involve and days full of activities
I enjoyed it very much There was a huge amount of variety on offer throughout the week which ensured the insight remained interesting and stimulating The people attending were great too
I really enjoyed the internship because it gave me a good idea of what it would be like to work in a top investment bank I also felt I was able to put what I learnt in my degree into action by working in finance
I really enjoyed the 4 days at Barclays It helped me to learn more about my skills and confirmed my desire to pursue a career in Banking There were lots of opportunities to get involved and I felt that I learned invaluable industry knowledge
The internship was a challenging few weeks but I learnt so much I was really grateful for the opportunity to learn so much about working in Finance at an investment bank
I really enjoyed the mix of skills sessions and office experience as it gave me the opportunity to see whether the work suited me personality
The spring internship was a great opportunity to develop key interpersonal skills in a competitive challenging environment
Absolutely loved it The employees and in particular the interns were great fun
It was the perfect balance between challenging manageable hardwork and enjoyable
It was really interesting you get to see real projects and really learn about what the job is all about rather than just assuming off a website what a job is about You also see the skills needed for each position
Really enjoyed it The job is so varied so you never get bored I learnt a lot about fund management
An amazing four days that were extremely busy but very worthwhile

The work involved some mathematics which I really valued
Incredibly useful in the sense that I was able to pick up so much on how Barcap worked as an organisation It was so much more fulfilling that visiting their careers site
