Never have I had a job as enjoyable in all aspects of the environment Not once did I see at as a chore to come to work
Throughly learnt about the organisation and what they they stand for and how they market themselves to the general public
Overall I really enjoyed it I had worked at John Lewis before as a sales assistant but this time I got to see a totally different side of it from the perspective of the managers
I did enjoy it however the six weeks ended up being quite different to how I had imagined At times there was a lot of waiting around as in retail things change quickly and this sometimes means plans are left in the lurch
Thoroughly enjoyed my 6 weeks with John Lewis truly fair and friendly to work for
I had a really great time on the internship The work was really interesting and I was made to feel like part of the team from the very beginning It was much better than I was expecting it to be

It was a very enjoyable internship with excellent exposure to different areas of the business It would have been better however if it had been slightly less repetitive at times

It was hard at first settling in to a new environment especially one that I had not experienced before but as time went on and my responsibilities increased I enjoyed it more and more
A valuable opportunity to gain contacts in the industry and begin my first steps into management The only downside being that the student tag was often seen as a barrier by some to progress further than I was able to
I have had the chance to learn so much a good range of skills that will has put me in good stead for when I start working after graduation Overall very enjoyable place to work and develop both personally and professionally
I have been within the John Lewis partnership for a while now but this was a different side to the business I really enjoyed it but some bits were hard to grasp so it wasnt all plain sailing
As with anything there are always ups and downs but on the whole the positives definitely outweighed the negatives I cant say I never struggled or enjoyed every single day but the year as a whole was a great experience that I would do again
