I thoroughly enjoyed my time on my placement There were times when I did wonder if retail was the job for me but there was lots of variation within my placement that allowed me to get a feel for a lot of different areas within the company

My placement exceeded all my expectations I was given real responsibility and full accountability for delivering results
You feel a bit like a non management employee For this reason it is not a management internship
I enjoyed my job most days with really lovely people both in the partnership and suppliers i spoke to daily however i am not sure if its a job i want after i leave university will just have to wait and see
I throughly enjoyed my internship with john lewis I enjoyed going to work and was sad to leave after the 6 weeks
There were ups and downs I found the first couple of months a real shock to the system and a personal struggle but the second half of my placement has been a challenge but enjoyable and I have gained an awful lot of skills from it
This course is excellent for those who are interested in the retail industry If you have a passion for food you will REALLY enjoy it
I think that the role I did allowed me to understand what I want to do in the future I now know that I want to work in grocery retailing and knowing that is amazing because I can now focus on getting the job I know I really want rather then still search
The people I worked with were so friendly and helpful that I felt very comfortable going in to work
