I enjoyed my placement very much
This was a great introduction to working life While initially adapting to this new way of life I was frequently tired and it was easy to feel a little overwhelmed After the first few months however I was more confident and able to relax
I was allowed to do both lab work and offsite work which interests me
I found my work placement extremely engaging and enjoyable I was involved in a variety of projects where I was able to make a valuable contribution I also learnt about different areas of work and learnt how to use unfamiliar equipment increasing my ski
I found it very enjoyable it has been great at teaching me so much from an academic and personal standpoint
It was enjoyable
The projects are really interesting and you wont find work like it anywhere else I ocassionally got the odd boring task to do but thats to be expected with any job and as a whole I really enjoyed my time there
Provides a huge extent of opportunities that you will never find anywhere else
I have had many oppertunities throughout the year and the experiences i have had have been broad and very enjoyable
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at DSTL the work I carried out was intersting and varied Occasionally Id have a little bit of tedious work to do but for the most part work was enjoyable
The work placement was very enjoyable considering not much of my degree was applied within the operational analysis role I was appointed
The work was incredibly interesting relevant and to my level of understanding
I really enjoyed my placement I really enjoyed the research I was involved in and I worked with some really great people
It was great I also did a year in industry with the same company prior to my summer placement and feel I did at least the same amount of work in a fraction of the time
The range of different activities you undertake is great you get to work on things that you wouldnt get to see anywhere else in the UK Combined with a mostly friendly workplace and a large number of young graduates and students it is an excellent place
The company was a great place to work it was a chance to learn more about what they do and what I really enjoyed was being a part of that
I got involved in some really interesting work and had the option to alter what I was doing if I wanted However I was not busy all the time particularly during the first couple of weeks which meant at times it could be less interesting
The people were mostly brilliant but the work got a bit tedious as it was mostly solo work
The work was a great challenge but aimed at a perfect level to not be too daunting It was actually exciting to wake up everyday to go to work
