About UKAR
UKAR is simply short-hand for UK Asset Resolution Limited. We were established by the Government in October 2010 to manage the closed mortgage books of NRAM and Bradford & Bingley, to maximise value for taxpayers. In addition, our subsidiary business UKAR Corporate Services (UKARcs) is responsible for the administration of the Government’s Help to Buy Mortgage Guarantee Scheme and Help to Buy ISA on behalf of HM Treasury.
Earlier this year we transferred our mortgage servicing operation – the part of our business that provided day to day support to our customers - to Computershare Loan Services. UKAR is now responsible for the oversight of the mortgage servicing operations, ensuring all our customers continue to receive the service and support they require. Our mission is to maximise value for taxpayers through optimising the balance sheet and our goal is to repay our Government loan.
Being a Great Place to Work is one of our four strategic objectives. It is important to us that colleagues feel valued, are proud of the contribution they make and are given the opportunity to grow and learn new skills.
We want to offer a placement to a talented business undergraduate within our Corporate Services subsidiary, which administers the Help to Buy Mortgage Guarantee Scheme and Help to Buy ISA. The role will involve exposure to all aspects of the business, including Audit, Management Information, and the Operation itself.
Opportunities offered:
- Internship (1 Month+)
