British multinational DIY and home improvement retail company B&Q plc was founded in 1969 by Richard Block and David Quayle. B&Q has over 300 stores worldwide and offers customers over 40,000 products.
B&Q have, since 2015, started to close down B&Q stores and have been converting them to to Screwfix outlets. B&Q have their headquarters in Eastleigh, Southampton and nationally employ 25,000 employees.
B&Q is part of Kingfisher plc, an international home improvement company with 1,100 stores in 10 countries across Europe.
