My placement year at Lubrizol was thoroughly enjoyable The project work was challenging whilst still remaining interesting

I enjoyed talking to the people there who where in many of the different departments and doing many different things that i had never done before
Although I was mostly doing menial jobs there were plenty of opportunities to speak with lots of people within the department They each gave me a detailed insight into their roles and this was what really made the week for me

On the whole I enjoyed my placement It has been a very valuable year My laboratory skills have improved as has my knowledge of analytical chemistry and time management Certain aspects of the work were very interesting such as nonstandard analysis
Ive enjoyed the placement immensely and was fortunate enough to interact with a whole host of colleagues in nearly all departments present at Hazelwood The staff at the site are all very welcoming and are keen to help out should you need help or advice
I have enjoyed my placement it has been a useful learning experience and I have found the work both interesting and varied There are also plenty of things going on at lubrizol outside of the working day which I took part in
In all honesty if I didnt have to leave my placement I probably wouldnt I really enjoy the work I get to do day to day
