Very interestinf subject in a very nice place It was great to work with them
I was given very interesting projects to work on which were relevant to my degree and of value to the company It had a great working environment in terms of both opportunities to learn and socially
I have done three placements in total and the placement at Schlumberger was the best experience

Overall I enjoyed the three months I spent with Schlumberger in the Oslo area I was given two interesting projects to work on which provided my with technical challenges and gave me some insight into what it would be like to work for such a company
I enjoied the internship very much The experience was very stimulating
The placement was thoroughly enjoyable There was an excellent social atmosphere and the work was enjoyable
The only thing which stops me giving my placement experience a 1010 was the long commute that I had to do to get to work
Since it was part of my MSc and related to it it was very interesting

My job was to help develop and code a new numerical model for oil reservoirs We hit the wall a number of times and didnt get anywhere near the results we were aiming for but thats research I suppose
