I wanted to be able to use the mathematical and technical skills I’d built up during my studies, along with being able to communicate and work with lots of different people. Therefore, becoming a trainee consultant seemed like a good match. In my final year at university, I completed a pensions module and knew that this was the area I had the most interest in and, hence, I wanted to pursue a career in this area.
