I enjoyed it an awful lot and thought my time there was well spent a lot better than others in the same year of placement there were a lot of social activities as well as good experience
BT gave so many opportunities to learn The strongest skills developed so far were from placement year
Great experience and really enjoyed it however quite hard worklong hours sometimes
The internship was great fun and very informative of how software development is conducted in a global business The work was both challenging but also incredibly interesting at the forefront of technology
Overall I found the work placement incredibly useful I now have a much greater understanding of telecoms Additionally my placement has really prepared me for my final year at university
I enjoyed the work that I undertook however slight reduction in rating due to the lack of direction at the beginning of placement in terms of starting the project work
Was a great insight into working at BT I was able to understand a lot more about the products they worked on and the opportunities available once you are in the company
I enjoyed worked across various teams to deliver projects for stakeholders within the company and seeing the full projects fulfilled within a matter of weeks I enjoyed being at the forefront of high profile marketing campaigns and products and working
I loved being involved in large marketing campaigns and monitoring the sales conversion from these It was great to see an ad that I had a big part in creating becoming very successful for the company
I was unhappy initially in my placement but after talking to the person in charge of placements I was moved to a different department which really suited me
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire year
Work was varied and challenging I got the chance to have control over my own project over the internship
Overall I enjoyed the placement the standard of intern was very high in that everyone was likeable and driven to do their work The platform of GES in particular of innovation based project work was very enjoyable
