Your Year

Our trainee programmes offer multiple opportunities to develop personally and professionally. Offering a wide range of training in skills that are both technical and transferable and could offer you the chance to embark on an industry certified qualification.
During your twelve months you will be involved with the daily activities within the department as well as having your own assignments to manage and organise. Placement Areas:
Securing an industrial placement with us means you could work in one of the following areas:
- Commercial
The division is responsible for all of the commercial activities within Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Vauxhall in the UK. Responsibilities range from managing digital activity on website platforms, promoting new model launches to communicating the latest news. You may also have the opportunity to produce and monitor various reports for the team to track performance on KPI’s. Identify potential strategy improvements and assist in forecasting, planning and scheduling of goods and service parts. Within the Commercial role there are a number of departments that you could be placed into; Sales, Marketing, Fleet, Network Development, Parts & Service, PR, Events and Supply Chain & Distribution
- Finance
There are a number of departments within the Finance and Accounting division such as: treasury, tax, finance systems, financial analysis, accounting, sales accounts and accounts payable. Your focus can vary from daily reporting and forecasting of parts sales, variable profit analysis – with reference to pre-defined thresholds and the individual customer circumstances to carrying out special investigations and ad hoc projects as required.
- IT
Within the IT department, your focus can vary from detecting and helping in the resolution of IT related concerns, determining and analysing data trends and supporting the integration of digital marketing platforms globally and other operational aspects of the organisation’s systems.
