I enjoyed to a great extent my year internship working in the power business development team in Centrica Energy I have been exposed to many different areas of the business from visiting power stations to leading internal events alongside my normal BAU
The placement was great experience Having all interns in one location was definitely one of the better parts

Travelling to Windsor proved somewhat difficult but once I got there the day was interesting A very clear explanation was given of what the company did and we were gently introduced to the energy market The lunch provided was good

It was an enjoyable day as it was good to speak to current grads who are already in the job roles However I was interested in the Marketing grad scheme which I felt was slightly neglected The day was more focused around the finance roles

We had excellent talks from their experts and had good activities to keep us away from boredom
