There is no choice to which department you will be in so it varies from intern to intern It may be a back office function that does not really feel like you are in an investment bank
I am not enjoying my placement very much the team i work in is very quiet and there is a very bad atmosphere Also this job does not suit my outgoing personality as most days are spent on excel in silence
The job was very interesting and challenging and gave me the opportunity to learn a lot about how the bank worked and the products they traded
It was boring but insightul
