Found a career path which I will be taking the job was perfect for me There were a lot of opportunities to see other parts of the business and decide what is best for you as an individual
It was a very different but exciting experience
The work was very interesting I was based in GITO so I took on lots of roles and did lots of different things Really good way to get a feel for the corporate world
Great placement working alongside fantastic people
A bit of a shock to the student system but no more so than any other job Really enjoyed the team atmosphere the responsibility given and the experience of working in a professional environment
Varied and sometimes challenging Many other itnerns did not get set projects or work Massive variation in the workload for interns
I had a fantastic time working at LBG The culture was great and was able to work on a huge range of tasks I also got great exposure to senior management whilst working here
It was a good experience and was actually the first job Ive ever had The placement allowed me to meet a lot of high up people through the networking events in London
I was given a role different from anything I had experienced before with a good workload that was interesting and involved learning new skills and Using different methods of work Everyone was very welcoming and supportive and encouraged me to ask any qu
The work itself and the experiences I was able to undertake were great BUT large amounts of time were spent with not much if any work therefore bringing the enjoyment factor right down
I really enjoyed my internship and got a lot out of it
It was a rather good placement overall although I wasnt as busy as I wish I could have been as I wasnt given the platform Bloomberg which is a requirement in Fixed Income to work
It was enjoyable but not too exciting or interesting
I hugely enjoyed my time with Lloyds Banking Group I was given a substantial amount of responsibility and autonomy within my role under the Process Simplification Team and I made a large number of lifelong contacts
The internship was OK however I did not like the area of the business in which I was based
Found my work placement both enjoyable and thoroughly beneficial
Overall the placement with LBG was thoroughly enjoyable Initially engaging in a new culture and way of working was a struggle but as I got to grips with this challenge I began to enojoy both the atmosphere and the work more fully
