It was a good way to expense the industry
An interesting placement on a slightly different side to Civil Engineering
I worked on many different parts of the project and enjoyed some parts much more than others For instance I enjoyed working on a construction site much more than working in the office
Fun informative and inspiring
It was good fun and an enjoyable insight into civil engineering It would have been more enjoyable if it was site based rather than in the office
Great experience good pay valuable insight
The placement was enjoyable and interesting but had its problems
It was good giving me a varied view of the company as I was lucky enough to work at twothree projects during my time with them
Felt very welcomed and valued while working here The placement offered more opportunities than expected to develop and learn a variety of new skills Obtaining and working on this placement was the best move for my personal career and development to date
I integrated well working with the wider team to obtain a mix of work experience and to raise awareness of the need for innovation on site There was a continuous acquisition of knowledge as I absorbed the most out of this exposure to an onsite working
Enjoyed my placement which was largely due to the people I worked with
Wasnt really given any responsibility I may as well have not been there
Most of the work was challenging the people were all fantastic and the project itself was very interesting
I enjoyed my placement as I was given more responsibility and I was able to work with various people to complete my tasks set by my line manager
For my first placement this allowed me to see a wide angle lens view of the industry and a great taster for civil engineering
