I really enjoyed my time on the project I was given so many responsibilities and felt part of the team from early on There were any challenges along the way but I feel they helped me grow and I have come away with a weath of experience and friends

I really enjoyed my placement with Laing ORourke getting the chance to work on industry leading projects such as Crossrail The work is hands on and site based allowing you to get involved and become a useful member of the team which I found the best way
I really enjoyed my work placement as I got a chance to look after subcontracts Also interacting with different colleagues from various roles and understanding what they do on the project

I love my job This is my second placement with Laing ORourke as a trainee site engineer I have learnt so much during my placement The time spent with LOR has definitely helped improve my skills and I am not ready to be a site engineer

The site was quite small so there was a wide variety of tasks on site however there were some very quiet times
