I enjoyed my placement and learnt a variety of new skills
I was lucky as I was put with one of the best Business Development Managers so I got to deal with some exciting clients and big projects Due to this I was able to go to meetings to discuss briefs and what they were looking for to promote their company
Some aspects of the job were good it was a very laid back environment with a group of people in a similar age group The work was interesting dealing with people over the phone and closing sales However the process was very long winded and repetitive
Work placement has been an invaluable experience for me With support from colleagues and superiors it is an ideal place to work at
I think that there were positive aspects about the job dealing with people on the phone however my role as Sales CoOrdinator changed near the end of my placement when they decided to get rid of the order management dept and have the interns do their jo
