I felt I was given a significant amount of responsibility from the beginning meaning I was able to enjoy my task knowing I was contributing to the project There were also Social activities after work from time to time which were enjoyable

I was able to get very involved within a project at Arup that involved me going to external meeting and doing a range of in office and on site works
Thoroughly enjoyed it learnt an awful lot worked on some great projects met some great people and made some good friends
I got to travel around the UK and see different Arup offices I also learnt more about fire engineering
They really try to find work for you and are keen to help

I spent 8 months with Arup during my gap year and then did a further 6 weeks after my first year at uni I enjoyed both greatly feeling like I learned a lot and gained great office experience improving many competences
