Very much so first few weeks were quite nervewracking as I felt out of my depth and my placement wasnt directly related to my degree but after getting settled enjoyed it more week by week
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at JLR Its such a varied workplace and with all of the new interesting development going on youre never bored
Ive really enjoyed my placement the projects I worked on have been interesting and challenged my abilities without putting me out of my depth The work and range of responsibilities was also varied allowing me to have quite a dynamic experience
Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I was only able to complete around 7 weeks of the 12 week summer program Despite this I have found working at JLR to be enjoyable and my colleagues have been very friendly It has been a worthwhile experienc
Supervisor did not prepare placement well and was not willing to organise opportunities to explore the company
It was a good job that I was motivated to turn up to and put effort into I felt valued and that I was investing into a great future Best of all I felt I could be almost completely myself and that colleagues were relaxed and friendly
Given plenty of opportunity for work and a really pleasant environment to work in
Was given a project to manage work on and develop which was my own responsibility The area I was working might not be my chosen area to work in in the future but it is a great learning experience
I enjoyed most days especially site visits
Overall I did enjoy my placement The work was somewhat varied and that kept me on my toes At times however the work was quiet Some tasks given were also monotonous and these lasted for over two weeks At other times though the work was a lot more fas
Very interesting especially at the start However the variety of work was minimal after the first month

I contributed to a variety of small projects the majority of which were quite interesting
When there was work to do it was very interesting and I was trusted to complete tasks on my own however there were periods with very little work to be done
JLR is a really cool place to work Im just not sure I was placed into the right department
A very welcoming and relaxed working environment however everyone is still driven and results are pushed for Reflects the successful rapidly expanding company that JLR is
Enjoying my placement a lot I wouldnt know if it was a 1010 Best Job Ever though
