Everyone is friendly and the work is interesting but slow
There are ups downs in all jobs but for the vast majority of my placement I was busy doing interesting tasks which involved testing development on prototype vehicles
I was placed in a department completely irrelevant to my degree therefore I did not find it anywhere near as interesting as some people might have If there is an area you want to work in make sure the company knows it dont just apply for a department
Overall I enjoyed the location the people and the company as a whole The actual work fell somewhat flat for me at times but that is to be expected for such a short internship
Great experiencebeing surrounded by some of the worlds finest cars all summer was a thrill Plus I got great exposure to not only my department Engineering Technical Services but to the automotive industry as a whole
Involved in lots of different projects and issue fixing given a very good overall view of what its like to work here

There was a good mixture of both office work and getting out and about working on cars
If you are willing to get stuck in and are enthusiastic then there is plenty of things to do Driving vehicles will always be the most fun If you are not enjoying what you are doing then ask to do something else
