GSK is a great company to work in my department is especially fun the people make the work great and Im given enough challenge in my job
Its a good job but its challenging
I really enjoyed my placement at GSK it had everything I was looking for in my internship I was treated not as an industrial placement student but as any other member of the team I was given responsibility from the first day onwards and I had a good so
Something different everyday
When I first arrived from university I was dithering over whether engineering was really the job for me But after my experience with GSK Irsquom totally convinced that it is Despite a lot of dull work and some difficulties especially in the beginni
I enjoyed my job in the aspect that it gave me an inside look to the working world I did tasks that intrigued me however they were repetitive at times
The projects I was involved in were great you get to shadow a Project Manager most of the time your line manager and you learn a lot of things which they dont teach you at university and I seem to have discovered that you dont use much of the knowledge
Loads of experience in serveral aspects of practial engineering Note This was a primary manufacturing site
Good location pleasant office environment Interesting work tasks and good support from team
I really have enjoyed my job After the 6 months I have done in sales I will go on to doing 6 months in the marketing dept for Europe so am looking forward to that
Not always the most interesting or glamorous job in the world but it provides a good challenge and allows me to learn lots of new skills which is what I like
It was more enjoyable when my manager defined a focussed plan of action for me
This is one of the best placements going its very dependent on you If you want to sit surfing Google all day then fine But if youre after opportunities with Europes largest pharmaceutical company then this is the puppy for you
