The 6 week internship was based ultimately around a data entry task which provided little exposure neither did it really help facilitate any understanding of what a graduate job in public sector audit would be like On the other hand the 1 week placement

Working at the Grant Thornton Liverpool office was a really enjoyable 6 weeks All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and were happy to spend time training me and answering any questions I had We also spent 2 days down at Bradenham doing training
Was a great experience and learning curve
Overall it was great fantastic even however some days were extremely boring with nothing to do

Really enjoyable made a lot of new friends and got the impression that the firm was trying to sell itself to me and not that I was just proving myself to the firm
I had a great time at the company though the work internally needed more structure
I really enjoyed my placement at Bradenham Manor which definitely gives an edge to Grant Thornton over the other competitors as it was such a well organised training
Wouldnt change anything and Im really looking forward to returning after uni
