I had a great year at IBM
Very enjoyable and I learnt a huge amount but the graduate applications process game could be a bit disheartening
IBM placed me to a role that suited my degree so I was able to apply theory learned at Uni in real life
Overall I loved the job that I was doing for the year
Obviously being a placement student some of the tasks I am given are quite dull However the subject matter is really interesting and I feel like I have genuinely added value to my team and been a useful addition
The overall experience was great a perfect career start
It fluctuated a lot between too busy and too quiet but i did enjoy it

Really enjoyed my job especially after around 6 monthd when I started to gain more responsibility and respect from other members of the team I was very lucky with my job role as it gave me great exposure to a number of execs and top level management
