The job role was very interesting and varied considerably over the weeks and months I personally enjoyed the work I did during my placement
Really sociable environment felt very comfortable and given enough responsibility to feel like I was doing something worthwhile
It had just the right amount of challenge support education and responsibility for an internship I got to practice programming skills I had learnt at Uni putting what I had learnt in to context whilst learning all kind of new skills
Interesting and demanding work that as a team we were in control of

I was able to switch roles and get to know several branches of the company While it was hard it was also extremely rewarding
I enjoyed most of the placement Initially the workload was slow however this worked to my advantage as it gave me and my new team time to settle in to the company and find our feet The number of interns in the office was fantastic as we could all suppor
I loved my placement year it was such an eye opener into what it could be work for a big company There were around 300 other placement students at IBM which made it very sociable and made some great friends

My Professional Development Manager did everything he could to make sure I got the most out of my placement
the first few months were good as i was learning lots of new things but after that it got boring and i was not challenged enough
I really enjoyed my time at IBM The start was a bit of a struggle as my role was a new one and was literally what I made of it but it helped me get stuck in with the business and my role within my team
Chance to work on real world projects with other interns as well as living with them and meeting great people
