I enjoyed it so much that I extended my contract by 3 months
Lots of responsibility from day 1 given plenty of various tasks to do
IBM is a really great place to work I would advise it to anyone
Given a good level of responsibility and ownership Excellent opportunities given
I was an Events and Marketing Coordinator and although sometimes the role could be repetitive the fun and unique tasks I got to take part in more than made up for it
The work load was very heavy and due to shrinkage of the team there wasnt room to delegate At times this was extremely stressful though I appreciated being treated like a full employee
My Placement was enjoyable due to having good scope in my job role and being well respected by colleagues
Great learning the ropes at the start but got repetitive and boring towards the end
I feel that around 30 of my training was not tailored to my role
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement year with IBM due to extremely helpful and friendly team and the industrial placement community present
I Had a good time and specifically enjoyed having the opportunity to work in London get to visit Client site and interact with a broad range of people
I had a fantastic year at IBM gaining a wide range of valuable experiences that will most definitely help me when I start my graduate career and in the future I worked with some great people and I have made many valuable connections
Really enjoyed this fantastic placement year with IBM Have had full time jobs within similar sectors and have felt this placement has been much like these full time jobs
Very nice environment to work in great people
The other interns and friends made throughout the year was a big impact on the amount of stars I provided The opportunities available were fantastic as it was such a large company however the actual intern roles on a day to day basis were admin heavy
My placement year at IBM was a great chance to understand and explore how large global companies operate
IBM was really great in terms of the work I did being involved in key decision making and the relevant experience I gained
